Viber is becoming popular just like Whatsapp; I actually think in the future its going to give Whatsapp a run for their money. Viber 4.1 the latest release will come with new features such as Chatting, Instant messaging, photo forwarding, video sharing and hands free Bluetooth connectivity. If you have used a windows phone you will realize that most software developers take time before uploading compatible version of their apps to the Windows phone appstore.
